GREG KIGAR

Greg earned his B.A.A. in Sports Studies from Central Michigan University and his Masters Degree in Sports Management from Western Illinois University. Before joining the Marshals, he was the Asst. General Manager for the Lansing Lugnuts, High A affiliate of the Oakland A’s. Among his other sports industry experiences he has spent time as Assistant Athletic Director at Central Michigan University, Intramural/Sport Club Coordinator at the University of Notre Dame, Event Manager at the Jacksonville Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, Director of Operations at the Dow Events Center, and was the very first Director of Stadium Operations for the Great Lakes Loons, High A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was also the Commissioner of the legendary 2020 Lemonade League, a Summer Collegiate Wood Bat League at Jackson Field in Lansing, which he fully organized to replace the canceled Minor League Baseball season. Greg and his wife Carol have 5 kids and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy rock and crystal hunting as well as music and movies.

JACK MISTEROVICH

Jack is originally from Maine but has lived the last 6 years in Michigan. His education began with a Bachelor’s in Business, from the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. Then completing a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Central Michigan University. He previously worked for the Portland Sea Dogs, Detroit Tigers, and Lansing Lugnuts. With those teams, he worked in stadium, field, and baseball operations. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, and listening to music. He has a lifelong passion for working in baseball and is thrilled to be a part of the opportunity to bring baseball back to Fort Smith.

LAURA ASBILL

Laura is an enrolled Cherokee Citizen who was born in Ft. Smith and raised just across the river in Oklahoma.  Laura has an extensive background in hospitality and sales and has worked in Florida, Alabama and Texas, in addition to Oklahoma.  She most recently spent the last eight years working for Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE).  Laura and her husband, Don McClellan, enjoy spending time riding motorcycles and kayaking.  They are also passionate advocates for animal rescue, specifically large-breed senior dogs.  Laura brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and creativity to her role as the Director of Sales and looks forward to being part of the success for the Ft. Smith Marshals.
